Day 1 - Arrival
Arrival to Juan Santamaría International airport. Greetings and transfer to Hotel Best Western Irazú or similar.

Day 2 - San Jose / Tortuguero
Departure from San Jose taking the Braulio Carrillo Highway to the Limón Province on the Atlantic Coast driving along the Braulio Carrillo National Park, where you will be able to contemplate the rain forest and the beautiful “ Rio Sucio”. Breakfast in route. We continue our journey with a boat ride through Tortuguero National Park Canals known as the Amazon of Costa Rica. This region abounds with rich flora and fauna. Arrival to Hotel Laguna Lodge or similar, where you will be greeted and enjoy a delicious lunch. Afternoon visit of Tortuguero Village where you will visit the Museum, experience the locals´ way of life and maybe buy some souvenirs from the place. Transfer back to the hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 3 - Tortuguero National Park
During the day, a boat ride on the Canals to observe the extents variety of wildlife that inhabits this protected area such as monkeys, hundreds of birds, caimans as well as the magnificent vegetation that surrounds the park. During the afternoon, there are plenty of optional activities: canopy, hiking to Tortuguero jungle, turtle nesting (only during the season). (B,L,D)

Day 4 - Tortuguero National Park / Arenal Volcano
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to La Fortuna town, a village situated on Arenal Volcano slopes. Lunch on route. You will be arriving during the afternoon to Los Lagos Hotel or similar. At night and from your hotel you will be able to appreciate, if the weather allows, the incredible eruptions of lava streams and incandescent rock explosions unforgettable natural fireworks displays. Day 5 - Arenal Volcano
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure to explore the area. There are many optional activities offered by the hotel, we could recommend a visit to Peñas Blancas where you will enjoy the landscape and sounds of the rainforest. As you paddle through the river there will be plenty of chances to observe monkeys, iguanas, slots, crocodiles and hundreds of birds. A visit to La Fortuna Waterfalls and the Canopy tour will be worth too. The Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge tour, a horseback ride along forest trails, fishing, and the Butterfly Garden are also highly recommended. Or you can just relax and enjoy the hotel facilities while you admire the beauty of the landscapes (B)

Day 6 - Arenal / Monteverde
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Arenal Lake for a boat ride through spectacular landscapes, until you arrive to Rio Chiquito. Land transfer to Hotel Heliconia or similar. Free afternoon to enjoy an optional tour, a visit to the Butterfly Garden and the Serpentarium are highly recommended. (B)

Day 7 - Monteverde
Breakfast included at the hotel. Free day to enjoy the activities offered in the area. As a recommendation, we can suggest the Hanging Bridges tour where you will be able to admire the beauty of the rainforest from the top of the trees. Or a visit to Santa Elena Biological Reserve would be worth it too. And for those more adventurous a Canopy tour could be great alternative, where you will slide through cables from the top of one tree to the other. At the end all this activities, you can go back to the hotel to rest. (B)

Day 8 - Monteverde / Guanacate Beach
Breakfast included at the hotel. At the designated time, you will be picked up, for your transfer to the North Pacific Coast, to your All Inclusive Monarch Hotel or similar. (B,L,D)

Day 9 - Guanacate Beach
Free day in your All Inclusive Hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 10 - Guacanaste Beach / San Jose
Morning at leisure. In the afternoon and at the designated time, regular transfer to Best Western Irazú or similar. (B,L)

Day 11
Breakfast at the hotel. At the designated time, transfer to Juan Santamaría International Airport, for your international flight back home. (B).
